Corrections to some commonly misquoted lyrics

The following are corrections to lyrics you'll find elsewhere on the web for a number of Led Zeppelin and Robert Plant songs. Refer also to Mondegreen's for your enlightenment and entertainment.

The Wanton Song

It isn't:
"Silent Woman in the night you came"
It is "Siren moving".  There is no doubt about this, as it was confirmed by a guy who read it on a lyrics sheet for Plant during the 1995/96 tour.

When the Levee Breaks

It is:
"It's got what it takes to make a monkey-man leave his home"
Not "mountain man".   Alison Krauss can be heard clearly singing "monkey man" during 2007 performances.

Babe I'm Gonna Leave You

It is:
"I ain't jokin’ woman, I've got to ramble"
He is not saying that his name is not "Joe King"!

Mirror in the Bathroom

This song was performed a number of times by Robert Plant in 1990 (the Joe Jackson version made the charts).  It is "mirror" not "Meet her in the Bathroom".
