Secret Societies

Freemasons symbol The diagram below comes from Matrix III which can be obtained through the Leading Edge research group. I cannot comment on the accuracy, but it does show the development of occult secret societies from about the 12th century, the names of many of which will be familiar, including:

Freemasons
Illuminati
Knights Templar
Rothschild's and Rockefeller's
Theosophical Society
Cathars
Golden Dawn and Silver Star (Aleister Crowley of Jimmy Page fame)
Mafia
German Nazi party and Gestapo

This doesn't mean that these groups had friendly relations with each other - rather shows the development of ideas and influences on these different groups. It was through the French occult groups that symbols developed that lead to my research on the origin of Jimmy Page's Led Zeppelin symbol.

There is a good deal of confusion and obfusciation over the real aims, teachings and activities of the members of these secret societies, so I am not going to go into any in more detail. They are often the bad guys in movies such as the X-files, and taken the mickey out of in the Men In Black movies.
